Located adjacent to Rockpool Bar & Grill Melbourne, in the lobby of Crown Towers, The Waiting Room has been inspired by the grand hotels of the world and aspires to opulence, longevity and comfort.

No detail at The Waiting Room has been overlooked with antique crystal glassware, copper mugs, vintage cocktail equipment and soda guns sourced to complement the produce-driven bespoke cocktails and concise wine program, which offers premium wine by the taste, glass, carafe or bottle. Even the music has been carefully considered with a special compilation created by Anton Monsted, Baz Luhrmann's Music Supervisor on Australia and Moulin Rouge.

Taking you on a culinary journey from the US and Mexico to the UK and Europe, Neil Perry's menu includes montaditos, tacos, hot dogs, his famous classic cheeseburger and tray services for afternoon tea and high tea. 
 
"The Waiting Room is the ideal place to meet and celebrate with friends or to enjoy a drink before or after lunch and dinner.  More than anything, it is a place for people to have fun," says Perry.

Conditions: Booking option only applicable to groups over 8 guests.  The Lounge and VIP Salon are available for private events for up to 30 people.
