To watch this icon of Australian music on stage after 60 years, you could be mistaken for taking a trip into a time warp. His voice, likened to his original peers, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison and Elvis Presley, along with his amazing energy throughout the entire show, is simply awesome.
The pure and authentic Rock'n'Roll and rockabilly songs from the most popular era ever, are brought alive and right into your laps, as he and his band The Leemen, build the excitement throughout the performance until the final encore.
It’s Lee’s natural knack of transforming relatively staid songs into something spectacularly sexy, with throats-a-rumblin’ and sharp shoulders twitchin’ to the rhythm that will see your body bop and boogie all night long.
It’s a gloriously comprehensive show, nodding to both the obvious songs with plenty of more obscure tracks and tributes to that era's finest. This is not a clone show. The hits he sings are his own, and he sings them like it was yesterday!
