As Executive Pastry Chef for Atlantic Group, Lisa Van Zanten leads the pastry and baking team to develop and create the evolving sweet and savoury pastry menu at Mill & Bakery on Central Pier, Docklands, the dessert menu at The Atlantic Restaurant, Southbank as well as all desserts served at Atlantic Group’s five premier event spaces across Melbourne; Peninsula, Sumac, MAIÀ, Sketch and Gardens House. Her pathway to Atlantic Group included extended time in London, where she worked at Claridges as Pastry Sous Chef and in Noma’s pop up restaurant at the 2012 Olympics.
Her travels across Australia and Europe inspire her pastries, delicate sweet treats and her famous and highly sought-after celebration cakes.
