Aussie Millions Poker Championship TV Broadcast - 29 April 2015
Crown Melbourne has today announced the 2015 Aussie Millions Poker Championship television broadcast will commence on ONE HD from Tuesday 5 May at 11pm.

The Aussie Millions broadcast series will consist of 12 one-hour episodes and will be telecast Australia-wide every Tuesday and Wednesday night from 11pm for 6 weeks beginning early May on ONE HD. The premiere episode will feature the Final Table of the internationally renowned Aussie Millions ‘Main Event’, proudly part of the Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT).

“Crown is thrilled to be working together with APPT and ONE HD in showcasing the 2015 Aussie Millions. This premiere will be a world exclusive featuring the best international poker players in some of the biggest buy-in events in poker. Crown Melbourne and the Aussie Millions, along with the city of Melbourne, will be showcased to worldwide audiences,” said Crown Melbourne’s Tournament Director, Joel Williams.

The remaining episodes will feature coverage of the high stakes events including the ‘$100,000 Challenge’ and the ‘LK Boutique $250,000 Challenge’.

The Aussie Millions has an excellent reputation for hosting the best of the best, when it comes to high stakes poker. Players from all over the world descend on Crown Melbourne for the poker games that compact the accumulation of wealth, assessing risk and the thrill of negotiation into quick and easy hands of poker, for buy-ins of AUD$100,000, AUD$250,000 and more.

The broadcast host will be Jaimee Rogers, and the expert poker commentators include Australia’s king of poker and WSOP 2005 Champion Joe Hachem and ‘The Voice’ of Australian poker, Paul Khoury.

The Crown Autumn Ladies Lunch will take place on Friday 20 March On Seven at David Jones to celebrate Sydney’s Autumn Racing Carnival. Hosted by three generations of Packer women - Roslyn, Gretel and Francesca Packer-Barham and supported by David Jones and The Australian Women's Weekly guests will include 220 of Australia's leading figures in racing, media, entertainment, business and fashion.

This year the event will feature an extraordinary showcase of international Autumn Racing Fashion
presented by David Jones and modelled by David Jones Ambassadors Jessica Gomes and Montana
Cox.

Master of Ceremonies, Karl Stefanovic will host the day with a special performance from The XFactor’s
Nathaniel plus Rob Mills supported by the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and Chong Lim. The
menu is created by internationally renowned chefs and Crown Resorts culinary directors, Guillaume
Brahimi and Neil Perry.

This year, funds raised will be in support of four women's shelters including DV Connect, Safe Steps,
Catherine House and The Luke Batty Foundation, represented by special guest and Australian of the
Year Rosie Batty, to raise awareness around domestic violence against women.
