Vast windows frame Yarra River views sweeping across Melbourne’s CBD. A feature wall showcases the kitchen as the chefs prepare each dish with skill and flair.

The private dining room is a versatile space suited to creating a dramatic environment for a larger group seated around a solid wooden table. Seating up to 12 guests, the room can be sectioned off for complete privacy or left open to enjoy the ambience, and offers up to four set menus.

Chef’s Table at Dinner by Heston Blumenthal

Take a front row seat at our exclusive Chef’s Table. Situated directly opposite the custom-built glass walled kitchen, diners not only have a direct view of our chefs at work, but also the opportunity for some fun, one-on-one interaction with the kitchen team. It also reveals an exclusive insight into the cooking techniques and historical influences on our menus.

With room for up to 6 guests, the Chef's Table features an 8 or 10 tasting menu, showcasing the best that Dinner has to offer.

To complement your experience, a dedicated sommelier will be on hand throughout your meal to help you choose the perfect wine for each dish.

The historic references and modern cooking practices of the kitchen have translated to The Bar and created a cocktail list of unique dimensions. Chef Ashley Palmer-Watts and drinks and flavour expert Tony Conigliaro of The Drinks Factory London have created a number of truly Australian cocktails that are exclusive to Dinner, Melbourne.

Premium spirits and the restaurant’s full wine and champagne list are also available with a selection of locally brewed beer.

Heston Blumenthal & Ashley Palmer-Watts

Insatiably curious and entirely self-taught, Heston Blumenthal has become famous for his unique, ground-breaking approach to the dining experience. At Dinner alongside Ashley Palmer-Watts, the two chefs have created a contemporary menu inspired by the tastes and flavours of British and Australian history.

Heston received the World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2017 Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to global gastronomy. The original Dinner by Heston Blumenthal restaurant in London led by Chef Director Ashley Palmer-Watts was ranked number 36, up nine places from last year.
