The health and safety of our employees and patrons is our priority and Crown is committed to implementing appropriate hygiene and distancing policy responses. As the COVID-19 situation evolves, so too will Crown’s response ensuring we remain in line with government mandates. As such, the below remains subject to change.

Crown Melbourne COVIDSafe Plan

Crown Melbourne’s priority remains keeping our guests, our employees and the community safe.

A COVIDSafe Plan has been developed to support a safe reopening of the property for our guests and maintain a COVIDSafe workplace for our employees.

Crown continues to take advice and adhere to public health directions and recommendations in order to remain compliant throughout its operations considering the COVID Safe principles. These include:
  • Physical Distancing
  • Face Masks
  • Hygiene and Enhanced Cleaning
  • COVID-19 Response and Contact Tracing
  • Indoor and Outdoor Spaces
Crown will monitor adherence to this plan and with new advice and recommendations, will adjust this plan, ensuring Crown Melbourne provides a COVIDSafe environment for all who visit, work with and use our facilities.

SAFELY WELCOMING YOU BACK TO OUR DINING VENUES

 

OUR COVID-19 SAFETY MEASURES

Crown is implementing new procedures which will be strictly enforced as we recommence our restaurant operations including:
 
• Physical distancing measures – Physical distancing requirements and capacity limitations on venues are in place to ensure all Victorian government and health department directives are adhered to.
 
• Strict new hygiene and sanitisation practices – including enhanced and high-frequency cleaning as well as mandatory hand sanitiser usage for all guests upon entry to venues.
 
• Entry screening procedures – including temperature testing by way of hand-held temperature devices for all guests upon entry to venues.
 
• Contact register requirement – As per the Victorian Government requirements all guests will be required to provide contact details to assist with contact tracing.
 
• Group bookings – There will be new restrictions on group bookings with a maximum of 10 guests permitted at any one table.
 
• Face mask usage – Face masks should be worn across all areas of the resort where physical distancing is not possible or unless dining or drinking.
 
We remind guests that if they are experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms even if mild, to refrain from visiting us until they are fully recovered.

Crown Melbourne’s priority remains keeping our guests, our employees and the community safe. Crown Melbourne has worked closely with government and health authorities to reopen The Palms in compliance with all government mandates including physical distancing requirements, hygiene measures and an updated check-in process.

Please note, face masks must be worn indoors when seated in The Palms (unless eating or drinking) or where physical distancing is not possible.
