Michael Vaughan is an English cricket commentator and former England captain who played in all formats of the game. Renowned for his elegant batting and sharp tactical mind, he led England from 2003 to 2008. The pinnacle of his captaincy came with the historic 2005 Ashes, when England defeated Australia 2–1 to reclaim the urn after 18 years.
Vaughan scored over 5,700 Test runs, including 18 centuries, and was ranked among the world’s best batsmen in the early 2000s. Since retiring, he has become a prominent broadcaster offering insight, humour and first-hand experience to cricket coverage worldwide.
