Be Cyber Aware

In Australia, it is illegal to operate an online casino or to provide casino-style games online. Crown does not operate an online casino or provide online gambling in any form.

Crown encourages its community to remain vigilant against imposter and fraudulent social media accounts, advertisements or apps using Crown’s name, logo, photos and other identifying information.

Fraudulent accounts may request money, personal information, send links for phishing scams, advertise false services, or post fake giveaways and prizes. Please do not engage with any fraudulent accounts and do not provide your personal information or credit card details.

If you receive a message, identify an app or advertisement or see a profile or post from an account that doesn’t seem quite right, no matter what platform it’s on, we encourage you to report it to our team via email at hoax@crownresorts.com.au or to the relevant social media platform or app store.

Crown continuously works with social media and technology companies to seek removal of fraudulent content as a priority.

There are several resources available to assist in reporting and staying aware of cyber threats. Visit the Australian Cyber Security Centre’s website, the Australian Government's online safety and security website, designed to help everyone understand the risks and steps we can take to stay safe online. To confirm if an online gambling or betting service is registered in Australia, please see the Australian Communications and Media Authority’s register of licensed interactive gambling providers.
