The Waiting Room’s Matcha High Tea is a fresh take on the ritual—four tiers of bold, beautiful bites designed to delight, share and savour. From matcha and plain scones (with all the good things) to lobster brioche topped with bursting pearls, every detail leans into flavour and feeling.

Thoughtfully crafted to balance matcha’s natural depth, each dish is smooth on the palate—layering sweetness, richness and umami so nothing feels overly bitter. It’s a modern expression that’s as approachable as it is refined.

Expect savoury favourites with a twist—wagyu sliders on matcha milk buns, charred chicken wraps with shiso kale emulsion, and matcha cloud bao layered with ginger miso prawns. It’s balanced, delicious and just a little unexpected.

Then come the sweets: matcha yuzu opera, hojicha treats, apple crumble verrine, and macarons that are almost too pretty to eat. Playful yet polished, the experience has been designed to delight all ages—making it just as memorable for younger guests as it is for seasoned matcha enthusiasts.
