Mitch Brown is an advocate, speaker and leader focused on safety, inclusion, men’s wellbeing and social change. In 2025, he became the first openly bisexual past or present male AFL player in the game’s history - a moment that helped drive important conversations around healthier masculinities and safer cultures. 

Drawing on his experience as an elite athlete and social impact leader, Mitch works across sport, workplaces and communities to challenge harmful norms and support environments where people can show up fully as themselves.

Renowned as “The International Party DJ” YO! MAFIA has graced stages worldwide across NYC, LA, UK, Japan and Malaysia. From touring with festival giant Fridayz Live (formerly RnB Fridays) as official DJ from 2018 to current, YO! MAFIA has supported and worked with a who’s who of the music industry. Sharing the stage with heavyweights such as Mariah Carey, Usher, Macklemore, Lady Gaga, Stevie Wonder, Robbie Williams, Missy Elliott, Snoop Dogg, Pitbull, Janet Jackson, Black Eyed Peas to name a few. A regular on the Australian festival circuit, performances at major corporate, celebrity and sporting events, as well as appearing on stage for the last decade at the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, YO!
