An Easy Way to Play

Use your Crown card to access Crown Wallet, making it easier than ever to deposit funds and move between games. Simply:

  1. Present your Crown card at the cashier and request a deposit;
  2. Open the service menu on your ETG or EGM;
  3. Enter your Crown PIN;
  4. Select Credit to Machine and enter amount;
  5. Play instantly.

When you’ve finished, select Credit to Card to transfer funds back to your Wallet.

Leave your funds in your Wallet for next time, or visit any cashier to request a withdrawal to your verified bank account. 

Whether you’re topping up, switching games, or coming back for another session, your balance stays ready for you.

To purchase chips present your Crown card at the cashier.

You can use Crown Wallet to Deposit funds¹, transfer funds from your wallet for credit at an EGM or ETG, withdraw winnings², set or update your own deposit limit, or soon purchase chips at Table Games with your Crown card.

Important Information About Debit Cards

Your EFTPOS, Visa debit card or Mastercard debit card must be in your personal name and physically swiped or inserted into the EFTPOS terminal. Merchant processing fees apply. 

Crown does not accept contactless payments, credit cards, and prepaid cards (including gift cards).

1. Crown Wallet only accepts physical EFTPOS, Visa Debit and Mastercard Debit cards issued in your own personal name (Digital cards are not accepted). Merchant processing fees will apply.   
2. Bank transfers are processed on business days. Funds will be available in your account after 24 hours.  
3. Increases to your deposit limit are subject to a 24hr cooling off period. 
4. Cash deposits are not included in deposit limits.  For more information on deposit limits refer to here.

Can I use my Crown Wallet in all gaming areas?

Crown Wallet is available on all Electronic Gaming Machines (EGMs) and Electronic Table Games (ETGs) across Crown Melbourne.  

Chip purchases using Crown Wallet are available at all Cashiers.

Can I use my Crown Wallet outside the gaming areas?

No. Crown Wallet is only available for use on the gaming floor - it cannot be used at restaurants, bars, retail outlets, or for hotel services.

Is there a limit to how much I can deposit into my Crown Wallet?

You can choose to set a daily deposit limit in your Wallet to help manage your play or opt out.  

Additionally, your bank may have transaction or daily limits. We recommend checking with your bank and setting a deposit limit that suits your personal circumstances. 

Can I change my deposit limit?

Yes - you’re in control. You can update your Wallet deposit limit at any time by visiting the cashier.

Setting a deposit limit is a great way to manage your play and stay in control. Please note that limit increases take effect the next day. Learn more about deposit limits here.

Why is my transaction being declined even though I have enough funds?

Some banks automatically block gaming transactions. If your deposit is declined, contact your bank for assistance.

Can I access my Crown Wallet online or from home?

Not yet. Your Crown Wallet is currently available for use on-site at Crown Melbourne.

You can access it by opening the service window on an ETG or EGM screen, or by visiting the Cashier to deposit and withdraw funds with your Crown card.

We’ll soon be enabling the Wallet in the Crown Melbourne mobile app, which will make managing your Wallet even more convenient – stay tuned for updates.

Can I access my Wallet if I’ve forgotten my Crown PIN?

Yes. You can reset your Crown PIN on site at the Crown Rewards Desk, at the Voucher Issuance Kiosk, or using the Crown mobile app.  

Can I withdraw all the funds from my Crown Wallet?

Yes. You can withdraw your full balance at the Cashier anytime using one of the following options:

  • Cash (up to $1,000)
  • Bank transfer to your verified bank account (available after 24 hours)
  • Cheque.

Are my funds safe in the Crown Wallet?

Yes. Crown Wallet uses secure payment systems and PIN authentication to protect your funds and personal information. You can only access your Wallet using your Crown card and PIN.

Can I use my Crown Wallet at all Crown properties?

No. Each property has a unique Crown Wallet. Funds in your Wallet are not transferable between locations.

Crown Wallet is not currently available at Crown Perth.

How do I close my Crown Wallet?

You can request closure:

If you cancel your Crown Rewards membership, your Crown Wallet will be closed automatically.

Any money left in your Crown Wallet will be returned to you, and your Wallet will be closed as soon as possible.
